Being a young person in today’s world is filled with so many things such as school, part time jobs, family, homework and more homework! However, one thing that is often overlooked is a connection to the spiritual life. The youth group of Our Lady of Presentation-Mercy provide experiences where young people can interact with each other and engage in nurturing their faith in a Christ centered atmosphere.
The youth of the parish participate in many wonderful events and adventures like:
- Retreat Weekend (August 2020)
- Bowling (August 2020)
- Cancer Walk in Flushing Meadows Corona Park (October 2020)
- Sandwich Making Day (November 2020)
- Lock-in Overnight Retreat (December 2020)
- 3 Kings Charity event (January 2020)
- Broadway Show (February 2020)
